90 miles of the high-speed rail corridor between Chicago and St. Louis could be completed within 2010. The new rail ways would support 110mph passenger trains in early September for the southern part of the Illinois. Gov. Pat Quinn hopes that railway project will help support 900 jobs. Read more..
